Caring Bridge Update- Sunday, March 9, 2025

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for your kind words, encouragement, love, and support. Your thoughts and prayers have meant the world to us in this time. 

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, Matt was admitted to the hospital in the Neuro ICU. The doctors found out that Matt has a brain tumor. Matt had been complaining of headaches for about a month and a few bits of nausea, but all of his previous doctors attributed those symptoms to other things. It wasn't until Saturday morning when he threw up a couple times that, Jennifer decided to drive down to Lubbock to help him figure all of this out. God truly was looking out for Matt and our family by having Jennifer drive out to see him and check on him. Matt experienced a semi partial seizure after breakfast with Jennifer and his girlfriend, Millie, on Sunday and drove him straight to the ER. All of the doctors have told us that if she did not get him there when she did he might not be here. After many tests and scans the doctors diagnosed Matt with a brain tumor and moved him from the ER to the Neuro ICU.

As always, prayers are appreciated as God is everyone's firm foundation in this journey. Only He knows what will happen and we all have faith in His plan.
